QUALITY THEATRE FOR THE COMMUNITY
One of the wonderful things about the American River College Theatre is that it is truly theatre for the community...the community of artisans who create the shows and the surrounding community, our dedicated audience members who have supported our program with their applause for years.
| Our actors come in all ages and ethnicities, from the classroom, the community and beyond. Our designers are professionals who love the idea of sharing their art with audiences and teaching their craft to future theatre artists. Our directors get to select the shows which have inspired them - shows which they hope will have a transformative effect on actors and audience members alike. It is this combined dedication to the art of theatre that leads to ARC’s high quality, truly enjoyable productions. |

RENOVATIONS UNDERWAY!
Our large indoor theatre is currently undergoing an exciting renovation. A new “fly loft” and other tech-related additions will greatly improve our ability to create new and wondrous worlds onstage. Audiences will also enjoy comfortable new seats, a generously-sized lobby, and “sound locks” that will prevent outside light and noise from disturbing the magic of the show. Don’t miss our inaugural production in this beautifully redesigned space - add yourself to our mailing list by contacting us at (916) 484-8433.
In the meantime, we continue to offer audiences a comfortable, professional theatre experience through our partnerships with Inderkum High School and Fair Oaks Theatre Festival.
